Hon. Cali Yuusuf Cali (Xoosh) has assumed office as the new Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia.

Minister Cali Xoosh brings more than 30 years of experience in state-building, interior affairs, security, reconciliation, planning, public works, and resettlement.

He previously served as Deputy Minister in the Ministries of Interior and Security of Puntland State of Somalia, and has strong expertise in nation-building across different levels of government.

For the past nine years, Hon. Cali Yuusuf Cali (Xoosh) was a member of the House of the People in the 10th and 11th Federal Parliaments, experience he will draw on in leading the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation and delivering its priority programmes.
