NGO Registration Services

A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a non-profit, voluntary citizens’ group that is organized on a local, national or international level. All NGOS must be registered by NGO department under the constitution of federal government of Somalia and article NO: 54 of Somalia civil law No: 37 which issued 2/6/1973.

Requirements for New local NGOs/Company

1. Stamped request letter
2. Update organizational profile
3. Details of the board members (CVs and Passport)
4. Two colored passport size photographs, on a white
background, of each proposed board members.
5. Information stating the organization’s contact persons
6. Details of recognized notary
7. Details of assets (fiscal office, and equipment)
8. Proposed one year budget and work plan
9. Payment of local registration fee.($500)

Duration of Document Review

Document verification period is four days.
