Department of Archives
The department of archives and storage of documents of The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation is responsible for the capture, production and storage of all ministry related documents such press releases, decrees, policies, laws, etc.
Among its responsibilities are:
- Providing and facilitating the services of The Ministry through the special responsibility of the archives division.
- Handing and marking all correspondence from The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation.
- Dissemination of The Ministry’s policies on the programs that are of interest.
- Capture and storage of documents between The Ministry and internal and external agencies.
- Handling of documents from all other federal government agencies and its members.
- Improving relations between The Ministry, other government agencies and the general public.
- Training and enhancing the skills and knowledge of staff related to information sharing.
- Proposing initiatives to improve matters related to the protection of ministry documents.
- Monitoring the accuracy of various documents that reach The Ministry.
