Community Security Department

This department is a relevant and vital part of The Ministry’s service provision. It works to protect the civil safety of the people and their property. It is intended for dealing with natural problems and the prevention of various hazards with key focus on response-time, awareness and other issues.

Some of its responsibilities include:

1. Preparation of citizen security plans and policies.
2. Conducting studies researching natural and man-made hazards.
3. Establishing a national emergency response plan.
4. Cooperation with the relevant agencies for awareness issues.
5. Preparedness policies for victims.
6. Preparation of settlement plans.
