Somalia Stability Fund III Steering Committee Highlights Progress in Peacebuilding and Governance Initiatives

The Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation Aidarus Moallim Hassan, co-chaired the Somalia Stability Fund III (SSF III) Technical Joint Steering Committee meeting.

The session reviewed the Fund’s progress under the Year 3 Workplan, with reflections from the Federal Government and Federal Member States on ongoing stabilization, peacebuilding, and governance initiatives.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Interior Federal Affairs and Reconciliation presented key achievements, including strengthened inter-governmental collaboration to resolve longstanding clan conflicts and progress on infrastructure development at the Ministry’s headquarters.

The meeting also discussed lessons learned, upcoming priorities, and strategies to sustain momentum across Somalia’s reconciliation and state building agenda.
