Today, international partners joined the second day of discussions under the National Local Governance Coordination Meeting. The session was chaired by the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation.
Fadumo Aweis and Sadia Saylac from the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation delivered key presentations highlighting progress, ongoing initiatives, and priority areas aimed at strengthening inclusive, accountable, and resilient local governance.
The engagement provided an important platform to exchange perspectives on strengthening inclusive, accountable, and resilient local governance structures in Somalia. Participants discussed ways to enhance coordination and align efforts.
The Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation Mr. Aidarus Moallim Hassan officially closed the National Local Governance Coordination Meeting.
