The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Salah Jama presided over the handover ceremony of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, where H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi formally handed over leadership of the Ministry to H.E Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh.
In attendance were Federal Ministers of Security, Youth, Water and Energy, Labour and Ports, as well as the leadership of the Somali Disaster Management Agency, the National Identification and Registration Authority and the National Commission for Refugees and IDPs.
In the event, which was also attended by the state minister of the office of the Prime Minister, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation took attendees through the various tasks and handover documents.

H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi touched on the various achievements of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, from drought response and national stabilisation to establishing the Somali Disaster Management Agency and the National Identification and Registration Authority.
