Communications officers from the Federal Member States’ Ministries of Interior are in Mogadishu this week for a Strategic Communications and Media training led the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation.
The State Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Sadad Alio opened the three-day Strategic Communications and Media training, urging participants to scale up their efforts as the link between the people of Somalia and their government.
The three-day training covered photography, videography, graphics, editing, social media, strategic planning, crisis management, and counterpropaganda.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Aidarus Moallim Hassan alongside Jim Haggerty and Luke Horswell of the British Embassy.
