The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, alongside other federal leaders, joined thousands of protesters in Mogadishu today to denounce the government of Ethiopia’s breach of Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The entire workforce of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation also joined the public in today’s mass protest against the actions of the government of Ethiopia, adding their voices to thousands of others standing up for Somalia’s sovereignty.
Government representatives, traditional elders, students, religious scholars and almost of every group of Mogadishu’s society raised their voice and their flag during today’s mass protest.
Addressing thousands of protesters in Mogadishu, H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi stated that Ethiopia has been after Somalia’s maritime for 600 years. Adding that their intent to build a military base on Somalia’s territory is nothing short of an intent to invade Somalia.
