Djibouti Communiqué on talks between the Federal Government of Somalia and Somaliland

Djibouti 29 Dec 2023; With the aim of continuing the process of negotiations between the Federal Government of Somalia and the government of Somaliland, a meeting was held on 28-29 December 2023 in Djibouti. Two delegations led by the President of the Federal Government of Somalia Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and the President of Somaliland H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi and in the presence of the President of the Republic of Djibouti H.E Ismail Omar Guelleh held a historic dialogue. After an extensive discussion, the two sides agreed on the following key points;
