on September 8, 2023, The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi joined the Harardhere community and security forces for today’s Friday prayer.
Stating in his sermon, the importance of community led security in the eradication of the Khawarij from the region. He added that Harardhere as a newly liberated district is a priority for the Ministry, and the government of Somalia in General when it comes to stabilization, recovery and reconciliation. Urging the community to continue standing their ground, as they have against the Khawarij terrorist group.
Following this, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi attended a friendly football match between the Somali National Army and the Harardhere community.
Minister Fiqi who spoke to the community at the end of the match, praised the interaction and trust between the Somali Security Forces and the Harardhere Community. Adding that this unity is what led to the liberation of Harardhere in the first place.
