The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi attended the announcement and awarding ceremony of this year’s high-school examination results, with the Prime Minister H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre of the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Minister of Education H.E. Farah sheikh Abdulkadir and other officials.
The ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education, during which the Prime Minister, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, congratulated the students who passed the exams and presented certificates of appreciation to the student who received first place.
Also awarded were the Somali Police Force, who played an important role in securing the examination venues and providing security to students.
Deeqa Mohammed Abdullah, a student from Fanale School in Kismayo, the capital of Jubbaland State, took first place in this year’s national high school examination.
