Mogadishu jul 05, 2023; The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi chaired a technical joint meeting on the implementation of Somalia’s Electoral Model as agreed by the National Consultative Council on 28th May 2023.

 

 

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Office of the President, Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Justice & Constitutional Affairs as well as the administrative offices of the NIEC and BFC commissions.

 

 

The technical experts of all these government institutions presented their workplans and progress in the implementation of the election model, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation praised their efforts in ensuring the progress of Somalia’s elections and democracy.
