As part of MoIFAR’s “Xorriyad Ku Afur” campaign which has been running throughout the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation spent this week Wisil, Galmudug distributing Iftar packages to the community there. These Iftar packages which have been delivered to newly liberated areas consists of rice, flour, sugar, dates, milk and cooking oil.
“Today we have received the generosity of our government, we feel their presence and their support. We thank Minister Fiqi, he is caring person who has always looked out for us”, Warsan Tahliil, Resident of Wisil.
The Deputy Governor of Wisil, Abdigarad Omar Mohamud, thanked H.E Ahmed Mo’allim Fiqi and his team for this support delivered to the people of Wisil.
Adding that the people of Wisil stand for peace and reconciliation and will never allow to coexist with the khawarij terror gangs.
“This Iftar food and this peaceful atmosphere is a new feeling to us. We lived in terror but that’s over now, our government is here now”, Hussein Hassan Ali, Resident of Wisil.
