The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh chaired the First Programme Steering Committee Meeting of the SINAAN Local Governance Project.

The meeting brought together representatives from FCDO, DT-Global, and the Ministries of Interior of Southwest State and Galmudug to review progress and agree on next steps in implementing this transformative initiative.

In his remarks, the Minister described the SINAAN Project as a milestone in promoting climate resilient and inclusive Somali cities.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Federal Government and the Federal Member States to strengthen governance, decentralized service delivery, and institutional capacity at the local level.
