H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh has joined tonight the ongoing Conference of Delegates in the city of Lasanod.
His participation underscores the Federal Government’s support for the SSC-Khaatumo State formation process and its commitment to inclusive dialogue and reconciliation.
In the city of Lasanod, the SSC Grand Conference has officially adopted the name “North Eastern State of Somalia” for the emerging Federal Member State. In a significant step forward, delegates also unanimously ratified the Constitution of the new state.
A total of 417 delegates participated in the Grand Conference, all of whom endorsed the Constitution of the new North Eastern State of Somalia through a show of hands, marking a historic moment in the state formation process.
