Deputy Minister of Interior Chairs Meeting on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing

The Deputy Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ambassador Abdihakim Ashkir, chaired a meeting with traditional elders and representatives of civil society.

The discussion focused on strengthening community engagement in the prevention and fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorist groups.

“The fight against money laundering and terrorist financing is a national duty. Traditional elders and civil society must stand at the forefront in protecting our people from the harm of extortion and the destructive agenda of the Khawarij,” said H.E. Abdihakim Ashkir.
