Minister of Defense Chairs Communications for Stabilization Task Force Meeting

H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, Minister of Defense, chaired this month’s Communications for Stabilization Task Force meeting—a strategic platform led by the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation (MoIFAR) that brings together government communications focal points to coordinate messaging in support of stabilization and early recovery efforts in newly liberated areas.

The task force plays a vital role in ensuring consistent and coherent government communication, enhancing public trust, and reinforcing the government’s presence in areas emerging from conflict.

The meeting served as an important forum for:
• Sharing progress updates from stabilization efforts across various regions
• Exchanging insights on challenges and successes in communication outreach
• Coordinating strategies to ensure timely, accurate, and unified messaging in support of peacebuilding, governance, and recovery.
