The Launch of the National Reconciliation Framework

 

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Hamza Abdi Barre opened the Launch of the National Reconciliation Framework, where he talked about reconciliation being an integral part of Somali culture.

Also, the Minister of the Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh), who gave a speech at the launch meeting spoke about the importance of Peace to the government saying, “The Federal Government of Somalia priority is to accelerate the efforts of peace and the implementation of the National Reconciliation Process Plan as stated in the third pillar of the government of Dan-Karan (Somali Sezela) NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN (NDP-9)”.

Finally, the meeting was attended by the regional governments of the country, Banadir region, SSC Khatumo, civil society and international friends, and they gave meaningful speeches on reconciliation.
