Virtual Meeting With The United States Diplomatic Mission

Mogadishu 11 Mar 2024; H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, Federal Member State Ministers of Interior, the Banadir Regional Administration and the Interim Administration of SSC Khatumo had a virtual meeting with heads of the United States Embassy and USAID.

 

Speaking on behalf of the Somali officials, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi thanked the United States for their partnership in development and humanitarian interventions across Somalia.

 

He also highlighted the progress and outcomes of Wadajir Framework High-Level Retreat, which discussed local governance, democratization, decentralisation and more.

 

 

The United States Diplomatic Mission commended the coordination and leadership of the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi and reaffirmed their commitment to working with and advocating for the Government of Somalia.
