Minister Fiqi Joins Mogadishu Residents in Demonstrations Against Ethiopia’s Breach of Somalia’s Sovereignty and Integrity

 

The Minister of Interior Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi joined a mass demonstration held by the residents of Somalia’s capital to denounce the breach of Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by the government of Ethiopia.

 

The demonstrations that took place in Mogadishu were organized by the Banadir Regional Administration and brought together members of the community who condemned Ethiopia’s’ actions and stressed that they will never accept that violation as they are ready to defend our sovereignty at all costs.

 

In his official remarks, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi thanked the people of Somalia for their united voice, speaking up against the aggression of Ethiopia, and their complete readiness to stand up for their beloved country.

 

“The Prime Minister of Ethiopia deliberately violated the sovereignty and integrity of Somalia by signing a so-called agreement that goes against the international laws and norms.”
