On August 14th, 2023, in Galkayo the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi attended the commemoration of the 17th anniversary of the establishment of Galmudug State of Somalia.
Traditional elders, women representatives, youth, scholars, and community members wore the Galmudug flag colors as they celebrated and talked about the history and culture of the state.
