DG Aidarus Chairs the Early Recovery Sector Working Group Meeting

Director General Aidarus Moallim Hassan chaired a stabilization co-ordination meeting attended by representatives from the office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Security and Ministry of Water.

Also in attendance was the Somali National Army and the Somali Disaster Management Agency.

Known formally as the Early Recovery Sector Working Group, they discussed the delivery of immediate recovery initiatives to newly liberated communities. Initiatives such as water, security, education and health among others.
