The Minister if Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi was among government officials who joined the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Hamza Abdi Barre in an event bringing together and celebrating the work of the special security forces who managed to secure the Capital Mogadishu.
This event commemorated and rewarded the different parts of the seecurity forces who have been working towards the safety of Mogadishu residents from terrorist and other violent gangs.
Also in attendance was the Deputy Prime Minister, the State Minister of Internal Security, the Head of the Somali Police force and the Mayor of Mogadishu among other high-level government representatives who expressed their gratitude towards the brave men and women maintaining the security of the city.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre awarded the security forces and thanked them for their service and sacrifice. With further rewards going to members of the Mogadishu community who aided in the maintained of safety by reporting suspicious terror activities.
