The Minister of Interior Federal Affairs and Reconciliation H.E @AhmedMoFiqi joined the Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of Banadir in the re-launch of this initiative aimed at developing the capital through community contributions.
This initiative which was first introduced seven year ago by the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu Hon. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madale) has seen 82.25 kilometers built in Mogadishu streets. With international organisations committing to build a further 22 kilometers.
The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation expressed his administration’s commitment to this initiative and to work closely with the Banadir Regional Administration in order to reach the milestones set by the cause.
